The Aston Shuffle - November 2012 'Sunrise' Mix

The Australian producer/DJ collective The Aston Shuffle rose to prominence around 2006/2007 with a series of brilliantly elaborated remixes for the likes of Claude Von Stroke's 'The Whistler', 'Rocket Man's Candy' and Chris Lake's 'Take Me Away', which were followed by their debut single 'For Everyone' through Ministry of Sound's owned label Hussle Records.

What started as a trio became a duo in 2008 after Ross McGrath left the group to focus on other projects, leaving Mikah Freeman and Vance Musgrove to lead The Aston Shuffle mission further. Throughout the years they've become an important name in the global electronic music scene, in great part thanks to originals such as 'Stomp Yo Shoes', 'Your Love' and 'Start Again', as well as remixes for the likes of Kissy Sell Out, Malente, Pnau and Rhys, to name a few. As well as their DJ gigs and producer careers, they also host their own show on the Australian ABC's Triple J on Friday nights called Friday Night Shuffle.

Here we have their November mix showcasing just how beautifully engaging these 2 guys can be with a crowd in front of them. They seamlessly juggle between tracks of different intensities and statements while dropping some sublime curveballs in there, all and all contributing to one hour of pure magic!
